About the site

With the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, para-sports has been featured more on TV than ever before.

However, it seems that there is still a lack of interest in and recognition of para-sports.

We belong to a table tennis club.

We are a member of the table tennis club, and one of our friends uses a wheelchair and we learned that he was involved in wheelchair tennis, which sparked our interest in para-sports.
Watching para-sports, I realized that there are many kind of people with disabilities (personalities and backgrounds), that there are many people who support them, and that society is made up of many different people.

I think that by using para-sports as an opportunity, we will be able to share our perspective with people with disabilities and understand each other better.

We decided to create a web content focusing on para-sports.

We wanted to understand para-athletes through the experience of wheelchair tennis and interviews with Paralympic gold medalists and coaches. In addition, we asked students who are the same age as us to fill out a questionnaire to learn about their actual interest in para-sports and to think about the future.

We hope that by viewing this site, you will learn more about para-sports.

I hope that this site will help people to learn more about para-sports and to think about the society in which we live together with various people.
